This coding/robotics program was made possible by a generous donor through DonorsChoose. Paul and Kathie Spivack from New York have been supporting me since 2018. I couldn’t be more blessed. In addition to adding 3 more Wonder Cue Robots, we now have a new kid on the block, Welcome Vernie from Lego Boost!
Instructions for building the robots are found online due to the number of pages for each build. My plans are to select 3 students to collaborate and build one robot each in time for block coding. Our 5th grade students will start block coding on the computer with Code.org and then begin using robot specific apps to build programs that have their robots performing different functions.
I will provide more details and pictures as we go through the process. Stay tuned.
